#25

Today is a very happy day, and not just because it's Friday! This afternoon I took a physics exam (that's not why it's a good day either!). It's a very happy day because it was my last GCSE exam ever. I now officially have no school work or educational obligations until September, I can hardly get my head around my new found freedom! The only thing left now is Prom, which I cannot wait for because I've been dying to show you my outfits for months and now it's only a week away! Time flies when you're...doing exams?
Anyway tonight my lovely mother is cooking celebratory steak-frites and serving Prosecco to drink (don't mind if I do) so I thought despite my urges, I should opt for something a little nicer than joggers and a hoodie. So I've gone in between with my slightly fancier jeans, my cobalt shirt and my favourite (as you may have guessed if you come here often) Topshop knitwear garment. Dressing it up a teensy bit more with my rocking-horse gold chain. I apologise in advance for how I look in these photos, lets just blame the camera quality and an un-photogenic face for now...

Recently (and by recently I mean over the last few weeks) I've become increasingly concious of the fact I wear rather a lot of grey/black and everything in between. After spending probably far too much time trying to psychically analyse myself to discover why, I couldn't come up with a satisfactory answer. Perhaps it's a consequence of the drab weather Britain is experiencing this summer, who knows. Anyway the point is, I'm going to try and step out of my comfort zone and wear more colour, starting with the bodycon dress-YES BODYCON I KNOW I CAN'T BELIEVE I BOUGHT IT EITHER-shorts and bag I snapped up in yesterdays wonderful online Topshop sale with items down from the £30's to the £10's (I feel sorry for anyone who missed out on the bargains). Photos to come shortly.

Allllssssoooo (elongated that word on complete impulse, sorry) I now have a lot of free time over the next few weeks which I'm very much looking forward to spending. Hopefully it means I'll be writing a little more regularly and actually getting the things I say I'm going to do, done.

Since it is the wonderfully irregular 'Funny Friday' I'm simply going to post a link to a new favourite programme of mine on 4OD but then again the quality of my sense of humour is debatable. Nevertheless, give it a watch!
Happy Friday
